Wreath Workshop

2/6/2015

In late November some creative Bonnyrigg residents learned to make the bases for Christmas wreaths using willow from the community willow bed in the Park.   Complete beginners went from harvesting the willow to creating their finished wreath in only forty minutes!   One Mum said, “Thanks for a great wreath making workshop today. The whole family just loved learning a new skill. What a great idea and wonderful thing to bring the community together. Bonnyrigg Hub is awesome!”   We are glad to hear it!

Most people made wreaths, though at least one person made earrings!
